Wanted: Conference Documenters, Mekong Media Forum
The Probe Media Foundation Inc (PMFI) and IPS Asia-Pacific are looking for Conference Documenters for the Mekong Media Forum, which will be held on Dec. 9-12, 2009 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The Mekong Media Forum will take stock of the media environment and challenges in the Mekong region, consisting of plenary sessions, discussions, talk-show format discussions, and capacity-building workshops, There will also be photo exhibits, film showings, book launches.
Documenters would:
*accurately document/write down in English, all discussions and key points during the sessions he/she is assigned to (approx. 6 hours a day), capturing the main points and thread of presentations and discussions
*organise the information and submit documentation reports following a template to be given by the Forum
We are looking for documenters with the following qualifications:
*Experience in having done documentation work at least one conference
*Proven ability in speaking and writing in English
*Interest in media/regional issues
