To register for the Mekong Media Forum, please select the appropriate form below, download and email to registration@mekongmediaforum.net. You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of the form.

Regular Delegate Registration

The registration fee for regular delegates includes access to all Forum sessions and workshops, the photo exhibit/display and other common areas, the opening and closing sessions, and public events such as book launches. It also includes buffet lunch and coffee break for the entire duration of the conference.  Each registered participant shall receive a Forum Package (bag, documents, conference newspaper, report and materials) if the registration form and full payment are received by Nov 15, 2009. Delegates who register from Nov. 16, 2009 onwards, including on-site registration, may not get the Forum Package immediately at registration. Click here to download form.

* Chiang Mai residents who wish to participate in the forum must provide identification and proof of residence in Chiang Mai.

Registration for Ex-fellows of the Imaging Our Mekong Fellowships

Fellows of the Imaging Our Mekong media fellowship programme (2002-2009) are asked to fill up the Imaging Our Mekong Fellows’ Form to register for participation.

They are encouraged to get financial support from their media organisations to attend the Forum, but there are a limited number of scholarships available for ex-fellows. Deadline for scholarship applications is Sep. 30, 2009.

Media Registration

Media registration for approved applications is free of charge. Please see the Media Accreditation section for information on registration for coverage purposes. Applications should be received by the MMF by Nov. 2, 2009.

Exhibitors’ Registration

Exhibitor registration includes access to the opening and closing sessions and the exhibit/display areas.

ACCOMMODATION

The official hotel for the Mekong Media Forum events is the Holiday Inn Chiang Mai. More information is available here.

The registration forms contain an option for delegates to choose whether to stay at the Holiday Inn Chiang Mai.

METHODS AND PROCESS OF PAYMENT

Payment can be made through PayPal, check, bank draft or bank transfer. The Secretariat must receive the payment in full amount, and any handling fees for remittance will be borne by the participants.

Upon receipt of your fully completed application form, the Secretariat will send you an invoice and payment instructions within a week of submission.

LETTERS OF INVITATION

The Forum organisers may issue invitation letters, purely for visa purposes, upon request and after full registration and payment. Such letters do not imply the provision of any financial or other support by the Forum.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Only fully completed registration forms will be processed. A confirmation letter with participants’ registration number will be sent by email upon receipt of registration payment.

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the Mekong Media Forum secretariat. This notification must indicate a bank account to which the refund may be remitted. If the written notification of cancellation is received before 31 October 2009, 75% of the registration fee will be returned. No refunds can be made for cancellations on or after this date. All approved refund will be processed and issued 60 days after the conference.
